WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.

Sunday 1st Feb Well today it all kicked off. For the last few years I've joined Cathy Moir while she does surfebruary. This year Cathy has formed a team. What this means is that each day one or all of us will swim in the ocean 🌊 to raise money for Chris O'Brien life house research into cancer. Cancer has or will affect each of us in our life time so the sooner we can successfully treat all cancers the better. This can only be done by research. Today wasn't great in the water. Waves rough, it was like being in a washing machine but we did it. When undergoing cancer treatment you don't get to pick and chose days. You just need to get it done......so anyone that wants to throw some money out way click the link and add to our funds.
