WHY WE ARE DOING IT
Each day in February we hit the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.
We initially started surfing when we lost Will to help us turn our grief into something positive, we then cheered our friends Paddy and Eddy on as they fought their cancer journey, last year we surfed cheering my sister Michelle and we sadly said Goodbye to Uncle Gerry during the final few days of Surfeb!
Every year we have someone new that we go to the ocean and ask you all to support us raising funds for cancer!
