WHY I'M DOING IT
Most of you know I already swim every day… it’s part of who I am. But February is different. February has purpose.
This February marks eight years of me diving into the ocean every single day for SurFebruary, raising funds for the life-changing cancer research happening at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Eight years of early alarms, sunrises and deep intention.
The reality is confronting: one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. But there is hope. When we come together to support innovative research, we help drive better treatments, better care, and brighter outcomes for patients and their families.
If you’re able to donate, it truly only takes a minute, and every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. Your support means so much.
And if you’re feeling brave… you’re always welcome to join me for a sunrise dip one morning. You might even earn the very prestigious title of honorary Dumpling 🥟🌊
