WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
This fight became deeply personal for my family and I. During Christmas of 2024, my partner Harriet was diagnosed with breast cancer, turning what should have been a joyful time into one filled with fear and uncertainty. Watching her face this challenge with strength and resilience has shown me how urgently we need better treatments, better support, and ultimately a cure. Every contribution helps us move closer to a future where no one has to go through what she and so many others are facing.
