For those of you who don’t know, each day in February I'll be putting on the rash vest and jumping into the water for a few waves to raise money for SurFebruary and the fight against cancer. Supporting Chris O'Brien Lifehouse cancer research, dodging jellyfish and local Wobbygongs.

Whether it’s Lake Maroubra or “the swell of the century,” I’ll be out there doing my best Patrick Swayze impression.

We all know people affected by cancer, and it's something that my family and I and my family & friends have had to deal with. It's a great cause, and any little bit helps fund research & improve the lives of cancer patients.

So ditch the morning coffee and spare a dollar or a dime if you can.
