WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.

Wednesday 28th Jan G’day, what’s goin’ on? I’m excited because once again the opportunity to be a part of SurFebruary is here in 2026. The opportunity to dedicate myself towards a cause and a community outside of myself through Surfing. While I love the activity of surfing, I admittedly don’t always have the motivation to do it every day as I and as I’m sure that many of us out there, would like to due to excuses of we’ve got stuff on, the weather, the conditions aren’t great and the list goes on. This cause, however, offers a change in perspective. Because there are people out there doing something that doesn’t have the luxury of those excuses. People we know or at very least we know of in each of our lives, are fighting their own battles against Cancer and all of the physical, mental and emotional challenges that come with it. So this beautiful, eye opening cause of SurFebruary challenges us, the participants to get out there in the Big Sea every day, no excuses.Thank you to my Sponsors
