WHY I'M DOING IT
I’m back in the water for SurFebruary - raising funds for innovative cancer research at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, where I had my treatment. I’ve supported this fundraiser for 8 years, which means I now regularly find myself standing at the edge of cold water before coffee, questioning my life choices … and jumping in anyway.
Cancer affects so many of us, and research is what genuinely shifts outcomes. Every donation helps Lifehouse continue the work that gives people hope, time, and better treatment options.
Thank you for supporting me - and for giving me an excellent reason to keep swimming when my brain says “absolutely not.”
